Supportive Parents course exclusive to ESTC members

In January and February of next year we are delighted to be running a ‘Supportive Parents’ course for all us mums who could do with a bit of extra help understanding and managing our childrens’ behaviour! All members are welcome; it will be a practical course providing tools to cope with what’s thrown at us (sometimes literally!!).

We have teamed up with friend and fabulous psychotherapist, Renée van der Vloodt (pictured above), who has put together a course programme for us. Here’s a short intro to the course:

“Despite our best efforts and intentions, parenting can at times feel like an uphill and thankless struggle. None of us were trained to do the job and if you’re anything like I was, you occasionally tussle with the idea that “surely it doesn’t have to be quite like this!” This is especially true when you have multiples and the challenges occur in tandem.

Luckily, the last 20 years of brain science have revealed an avalanche of valuable information on how to work with the developing brain of your child. This is what I’d like to share with you…”

As a charity and organisation supporting mums of multiples, we feel this is a vital resource for us and so we are heavily subsidising this course so that there is only a £15 per person fee to be paid up-front.

Dates for the course are below and each session will take place between 7.45pm – 9.45pm.

1.       Monday 11th January
2.       Monday 25th January (parent meet)
3.       Monday 1st February
4.       Monday 22nd February
–          There is an option for another parent / homework meet in between the 3rd and 4th session.

These dates are set, so hopefully if you are interested, you will be able to make them all. Venue TBC but it will of course be local.

So what’s the next step? Please send an email to to register your interest, copying in Amanda – before 23rd December.
