A note from our Chair – Heidi:

Lovely to hear that quite a few of you are planning to come along to the AGM on Monday 16th November.  If anyone else is interested in hearing about the running of the club or is thinking of getting involved then please come along.

Even if you can’t come on the 16^th you can still volunteer a hand – just speak to me (Heidi) – every little bit helps greatly in the running of our club.

We do have quite a few committee members stepping down this year now that their little ones are school age.  I’m aware that there are already quite a few of you interested in the roles however I think it is protocol that I should list all the roles vacancies so here they are:

• Treasurer
• Secretary
• Fundraising
• Events
• Membership
• TAP taster sessions co-ordinator
• Website & Facebook lead
• Advertising lead

It may look like a lot but this years’ committee have tried to break the roles into bite-sized pieces so that no one role is overwhelming for anyone.  Please let me know if you think you may be interested in joining the committee or if you have any questions about any of the roles.

The one element we will probably remove is the Nearly New Sales team as there seems to be little appetite for continuing the sales however, if you feel strongly about the value they add to the club please step up and we can of course reinstate them.

The AGM is 8pm at Home Cottage in Redhill (round the back of the station). The first drink will be on the club for everyone that comes!
